A rare Georgian 9ct foiled moonstone, black and white enamel and seed pearl mourning ring.

The ring oozes curve appeal and design. A particularly attractive feature is the twisted open work shoulders which reflect the oval asymmetric nature of the rings centre point.

The ring likely had a hair panel to the front which has been replaced with a moonstone.
Close back setting.
Not hallmarked but tests positively for 9ct gold.
