An incredibly rare antique silver ring from the Queen Anne era.
The Queen Anne era was 1665-1714
A double heart motif typically symbolized love, commitment, and a union of two hearts. It could represent marriage, fidelity, or a committed relationship between two people. The specific design and embellishments like crowns, entwined hearts, or gemstones) could add further layers of meaning, such as “ruling fidelity over a marriage" or "forever in my heart".
This example features two 9ct rose gold hearts with the rest of the ring set in silver. The ring had a few stones missing which I have replaced with antique paste stones.
