An unusual modernist chunky ring in 9ct gold, exhibiting a glowing natural opal. The face of the ring is reminiscent of the style of the Greek key.
The face has been added to an antique wedding band, made in Birmingham in 1914.
The opal is predominantly yellow with flashes of green, blue and red.
20mm face height, 6mm band width on the reverse. 5.6g. Hollow back. Hallmarked for 9ct.
