The Dodo. Inspired by my visits to the natural history museum in Oxford, set in bloodstone, a traditional stone used within English signet rings. The Oxford University Museum of Natural History holds the most complete known remains of a dodo, originally a taxidermied specimen brought to England in the 1600s.
I've repurposed a vintage 14ct gold mount and had ferns engraved on either shoulder, emulating the dodos natural prehistoric habitat.
