A striking Antique 18 carat gold black enamel and star graduated band ring. This was likely a mourning ring from the late Victorian period, circa 1880.

The ring has an original locket back (the glass is missing but we can replace it for no extra charge). It is unusual to find enamel rings in this graduated dome format.

10mm face height, 2mm band width on the reverse. 2.5g. Some enamel retouching. Not hallmarked but tests positively for 18ct.
