An antique circa 1870 Victorian 18ct gold buckle ring featuring a trilogy of old cut diamonds.
This is a ring that has been loved in the past as the buckle features would once have been more refined. The ring now has a patina that only age and love can bring.
In the Victorian era, buckles represented loyalty, Fidelity, and strength. It also represented the joining of two people. Buckle rings were often worn by men so this could be an antique wedding band.
Not hallmarked but tests positively for 18ct gold.
